These suggested adventure loops were created for the 2019 Nevada OHV Summit and provide excellent riding options starting directly from the town of Caliente. They highlight some of the most beautiful and interesting terrain in Lincoln County while connecting a variety of scenic vistas and historic landmarks.
Each loop offers its own unique character. Riders can visit Ella Mountain Lookout, the Pine Canyon Dam Petroglyphs, the historic Barclay settlement, Kershaw-Ryan and Elgin School House State Parks, and the Delamar Mine and Ghost Town.
Loop A – Approximately 51 miles | 4–6 hours | Moderate to Difficult
Loop B – Approximately 53 miles | 4–5 hours | Easy with some creek crossings
Loop C – Approximately 88 miles | 6–8 hours | Moderate

Motor vehicles are permitted on designated routes only. Please note that the Bureau of Land Management has not yet completed Travel and Transportation Management planning for this area, so some roads and trails shown are informational only and subject to change. Always respect private property boundaries and stay on existing roads and trails.
Trail conditions can vary depending on recent weather. Always plan ahead: carry warm clothing, first aid supplies, plenty of food and water, and tools to handle vehicle issues. Traveling in groups is recommended, and always inform someone of your route.
