It runs near the rim above Moab Valley with wide views; several bypasses still rate difficulty 6. Combine with Poison Spider Mesa and Gold Bar Rim trails for total mileage. Scenery Follows Wingate Sandstone slopes with vistas west/north to Colorado River near Amasa Back, Behind the Rocks fins, Jeep Arch. Northern high end offers 360° views, including dramatic (overhanging) overlooks toward Arches National Park. (Caution: Recent rockfall on some rim sections.) Surface Layered broken rock/dirt on easier parts; solid rock ledges and short vertical slickrock faces on the hard sections (tall tires and lockers advantageous).
