This route completes the full Golden Spike Trail and incorporates the Where Eagles Dare loop, adding demanding slickrock dome ascents and descents. Refer to the Golden Spike Trail description for baseline details on that portion. The Where Eagles Dare section requires a mechanically sound vehicle with excellent brakes and climbing capability. The slickrock domes feature exceptionally tall, steep climbs and descents—drops significantly exceed those on Hell’s Revenge in scale and exposure. Drivers must ensure top-condition equipment for safe handling of extreme ascents and descents.
