This premier slickrock trail is located northeast of Moab, between Sand Flats Road and the Colorado River. It features long marked stretches of slickrock. While the most difficult obstacles exceed stock-vehicle capability, bypasses are available. The route includes steep climbs and descents with significant exposure, though the excellent sandstone traction reduces technical difficulty. In places, it crosses the popular Slickrock Bike Trail (mountain bike/motorcycle route).
