One of the Jamborees most popular trails is the Outlaw Range Ride filled with stunning views, wild life, and a tour of the historic Stringham Cabin. This is a two-track trail in the High Uinta Mountains with beautiful views of sweeping alpine vistas and majestic peaks. ** 20 miles of asphalt road travel ** ** There will be 2 groups ("Outlaw Range" and "Stringham Cabin") each group will run the loop in opposite directions. ** **Vegetation may rub on vehicle** Scenery Sagebrush flats, rushing streams, sweeping alpine vistas, historic Stringham Cabin, and wildlife Stringham Cabin Built in July 1926 by B.H. Stringham, his wife, Catherine Chipman, and family as a summer headquarters for two bands of sheep. For eight summers, the father herded one band while the children took care of a herd the mountain east in the Pothole area. The cabin was refurbished in 1976.
