Rock Corral Loop - Beaver UT
If you're chasing jaw-dropping scenery, this ride delivers in a big way. Towering granite peaks of the Mineral Mountains dominate the skyline as you weave through a rugged landscape of massive monoliths and ancient rock formations. Keep your eyes peeled for the famous “Circus Bear” and “Dinosaur” shapes hidden in the boulders — they’re a fun game the whole group will love spotting!
One of the standout highlights is a rare panel of ancient Indian rock paintings (pictographs). These aren’t your typical carved petroglyphs — they’re uniquely painted and feel like stepping back in time.
You’ll mix smooth county roads with nostalgic old jeep trails, including some thrilling steep hill climbs that get the heart racing. Then comes the payoff: a rocky, narrow single-track section that snakes right across the Mineral Mountains, offering epic views and that real backcountry feel.
Mid-ride, we pull into the scenic Rock Corral picnic area for lunch. It’s a beautiful spot with restrooms, shade, and plenty of room to relax and swap trail stories.
This is easily one of our most popular rides — and for good reason. It’s the perfect blend of scenic beauty, mild adventure, and just enough challenge to keep things interesting without being overwhelming.
Difficulty: Intermediate (thanks to the steep climbs and rougher rocky sections)
Distance: 54 miles
Machine Width: All widths welcome
Trailhead: Beaver, UT
