OHV riding is strictly limited to non-vegetated sand areas only. No competitive recreational events are permitted. This helps protect the fragile desert environment while still providing an exciting riding experience.
While you're in the area, take time to visit the historic Alkali Flat Hot Springs, located about 7 miles off Highway 95 on Silver Peak Road.
Other Information
Motor vehicles are permitted on designated sand areas only. Please stay off all vegetated terrain to preserve the sensitive desert ecosystem.
This remote location offers a unique dune-riding adventure in southern Nevada. Always come prepared with plenty of water, fuel, recovery equipment, and sun protection.
