The trail offers a 4×4 route within Arches National Park. This 4-wheel-drive road is located entirely inside Arches National Park. All vehicles and drivers require licensing. ATVs and UTVs, even if licensed, are prohibited in the park. Leashed pets are permitted on established roads but not on hiking trails or in the backcountry. Due to park overcrowding from April to October, a timed entry reservation system is in effect. Refer to contact information for details. (Trail #26 provides an alternate entry into the park; a park entry fee applies.) Rating Difficult Most of the trail ranges from easy to moderate; however, after 0.9 miles, it becomes rocky and challenging. Deep, soft sand sections may cause vehicles to become stuck. The trail can be navigated by stock vehicles with effort. When traveling in the opposite direction, one long sandy hill may be impassable in dry conditions.
