The Markagunt OHV System is located on the Markagunt Plateau in southwestern Utah, offering a network of roads and trails that travel through mixed conifer forests and wide open meadows. The landscape is influenced by ancient volcanic activity, featuring volcanic peaks and rough lava fields. There are numerous staging areas to choose from, with two campgrounds offering direct trail access: Duck Creek and Yankee Meadow Campground. Both campgrounds provide shady sites with picnic tables and BBQ rings, and have adjacent parking corrals with direct trail access. The Markagunt OHV System offers outstanding views of the contrasting forested plateaus and the lower red rock canyons.
